The X International exhibition Safety and Protection & Emergency (SAPE) will take place at the Central Media Center of Sochi from April 23 till April 26. The event will be held as a part of the All-Russian Occupational Safety and Health Week with the support of the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Industry and Trade. More than 120 Russian and foreign companies, including 3M, “Vostok-Service”, “Technoavia”, Honeywell, “Moderam”, Dräger, “ROSOMZ”, Ansell and Moldex will present their cutting-edge developments in the field of occupational safety, personal and collective protection. The exhibition site compared to last year is increased by 20 percent and amounts to 7.5 thousand square meters.
“This year SAPE will be held for the tenth time. Over the years it has become a large-scale and sought-after event. There are both regular exhibitors who come steadily year after year, and newcomers who join us every year,” said Vladimir Zatnaiko, managing director of “Electrificatsia” JSC, the organizer of SAPE. “The new thing about SAPE-2019 will be a special section dedicated to industrial safety, which will feature modern methods of preventing and minimizing the consequences of accidents in highly hazardous environments of the coal, petrochemical, metallurgical and electric power industries.”
Another important event of the SAPE Show will be the announcement of the branch Award winners «The Best Innovative Product on the Russian PPE Market 2018», arranged by Getsiz.ru. The winner will be determined by open vote, which will last until April 21.
A global leader in occupational safety and health solutions, 3M will present at SAPE-2019 a new generation of respiratory protection means. A mobile lab will work at the manufacturer’s booth, where one will get to know about new technologies, which can determine the efficiency of personal protective equipment and learn how to check the authenticity of respiratory protection devices. For the first time an interactive 3M exposition will be held on the SAPE outdoor site, where an occupational safety training quest will be arranged.
A leading domestic developer of innovative PPE “Suksun Optical and Mechanical Plant” will show smart-PPE in Sochi: a “smart” safety helmet that allows one to monitor compliance with safety regulations in remote mode, and a welder’s shield with a heated automatic darkening filter for work in critically low temperature conditions.
The association of occupational medicine clinics “M-Profico” will present a project called “Medical Checkups across Russia”, successfully implemented in 64 regions of the country. A specially developed program allows an employer to follow the status of employees undergoing medical check-ups in online mode. The program already monitors more than 20 thousand employees in various industries.
The Vostok-Service group, the largest European manufacturer and supplier of workwear, footwear and PPE, will bring to SAPE-2019 innovative workwear and footwear samples made from domestic fabrics and materials: sports & casual garments, gloves with polymeric coatings that retain flexibility at low temperatures, a new collection of safety footwear with lightweight outsoles and a lot more.
Traditionally, SAPE features residents of the Skolkovo Innovation Center: “Visitech” and “Quasar” companies. They will present an electronic medical examination system, a remote plant control unit, relaxation pods for quick recovery and augmented reality goggles for working with small parts.
This year the outside exposition will be significantly expanded. Honeywell, NPK “Pozhkhimzashchita” and “Tekhnoavia” will deploy testing sites here to demonstrate PPE functioning in simulated reality conditions. Rescue teams from EMERCOM of Russia will show advanced emergency equipment.
The international exhibition on industrial safety SAPE (Safety and Protection & Emergency) has been held annually since 2009. Starting from 2015 it was held in the framework of the All-Russian Occupational Safety and Health Week in Sochi. The exhibition is organized by “Electrificatsia” JSC, the operator of congress and exhibition projects in the field of energy, including the Russian Energy Week (REW), ENES, All-Russian Energy Saving Festival and the International forum All Renewable World Energy (ARWE).
