Information web portal Getsiz.ru together with the international fair «BiOT» (Occupational Safety and Health) prepared a series of articles «The Personal Protective Equipment Market in the CIS countries». Starting from Monday, May 27, within two weeks we will inform our readers about the situation with PPE in the markets of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. We have collected the opinions of both the participants in the regional markets and foreign (including Russian) manufacturers of protective equipment operating in these countries. Our experts shared their views on the development of industrial production in the CIS countries, the level of PPE compliance, specific features of the markets and the challenges that business faces.
Yevgeny Shuvalov, Commercial Director of Getsiz.ru:
Our web portal, Getsiz.ru, is frequented not only by Russian subscribers but also by our readers in the CIS countries. Therefore, we got an idea to make a series of articles on the markets of personal protective equipment in the CIS countries that we have a long common history with. The PPE markets of the former Soviet Union countries actively interact, despite the recurring political difficulties. I am sure our readers will be interested to get first-hand information from the market participants on how the economies of the neighboring states are developing and about the current situation with PPE in these countries. And, of course, we would like to thank the companies that helped us in the preparation of the articles. They are: «Vostok Protection» LLC, «Vostok-Service-Baku» CJSC, «Ansell Rus» LLC, «Tavush Tekstil» LLC, «Bezopasnost Truda» LLC, «SOMZ» OJSC, ARS Protection, «Tekhnoavia Kazakhstan» LLP, «Zelinsky Group», Tomsk plant of rubber footwear (TZRO), Group of Companies «Linija zashity», Company «Delta plus Ukraine» and Group of Companies «Energocontract».
Svetlana Bakhtina, Head of the Board of Directors, BiOT Fair:
The CIS countries are traditionally active participants in our fair. This year is no exception. Participation in BiOT-2019 has already been confirmed by manufacturers from Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. We are also expecting large number of visitors from the CIS states. Already we can say that the upcoming exhibition in December will exceed the results of last year’s event. If in 2018 the fair occupied two halls of pavilion No 75 at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements with a total area of about 13 thousand square meters. The BiOT-2019 will be located in three halls. The same is the case with visitors: in 2018 there were 15 thousand of them, and in 2019 we expect more than 18 thousand. The business program will undergo drastic changes too. An agreement has been reached with the Rosatom State Corporation, which will hold an annual meeting of inspectors in the framework of the fair. Negotiations are under way with Rostrud (Federal Labour and Employment Agency), Russian Railways and FSS (Federal Insurance Fund) on the organization of joint events with the ASIZ Association (Branch Association of PPE Manufacturers and Distributors). I am sure that our exhibition is an event not to be missed. The BiOT-2019 Fair will be held from December 10 to December 13 in Hall No 75 at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements.
The 23rd international specialized exhibition «Occupational Safety and Health – 2019» (BiOT) will be held on December 10-13 in Moscow, pavilion No. 75 of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements.
